Patrick joined the Camp Pinnacle family in January 2018. Previously, he was the site manager for a neighboring camp (that he attended as a child and then worked at as a counselor) in western NC. He then moved to Colorado where he was a whitewater rafting guide in summers before switching into a snowcat operating role at ski resorts in winters.
He graduated from Presbyterian College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and education; working with camps, he’s been able to combine his love for adventure, teaching, and hands-on problem-solving. He couldn’t resist the beauty and range of projects that Camp Pinnacle had to offer, and when not spending time with his wife and two dogs, you can find Patrick fly-fishing at a nearby creek.
Patrick will be teaching many life skills to our Leadership Adventure Semester students, from carpentry to auto maintenance.
