Instructor, British Columbia Adventure 1 & 2
Cody holds her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, and her master’s degree in outdoor recreation and public administration from Ohio University. Throughout college, Cody worked at several outdoor adventure camps, developing a passion for outdoor instruction and trip-leading. After college, she worked as a team leader with AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Core), managing a field team of young adults while serving communities. She then returned to SRU help manage the outdoor adventure campus program. Most recently, she was a logistic support technician for the United States Antarctic Program at the McMurdo Station. She is a Wilderness First Responder and lifeguard, and is returning for her fourth season as an instructor.
