Teen adventure camp vs. traditional summer camp
When kids reach age 13 or 14, they’re ready for something more than a traditional overnight summer camp—they’re ready for an adventure. Teen adventure camps take the best parts of traditional camp (fun, friends, and memories) and add real-world challenge and many more opportunities for personal growth. Through activities like hiking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, canyoning, and more, teens can build real confidence, independence, resilience, and leadership skills in a way that no cabin or dining hall routine can match.
Away from screens and immersed in nature, teens learn to work as a team, problem-solve, and discover what they’re capable of. Teen adventure camps are the perfect next step for middle and high schoolers who have outgrown the “rinse and repeat” camp routines and campfire sing-alongs and are ready for authentic adventures, meaningful friendships that follow into adulthood, and life-changing experiences that shape future success.
