Favorite hobbies
I am a jack of all trades when it comes to hobbies. I enjoy cooking, baking, eating, hiking, walking, running, coaching, biking, paddling, floating, stargazing, reading, painting, drawing, board gaming, bouldering, gardening, singing, dancing, decorating, sewing… and chitchatting!
Favorite outdoor achievement
I’m pretty proud of anytime I try something new outside. But I think a recent favorite was watching the sunrise on Lassen Peak with AT students last summer!
Favorite outdoor memory
My favorite outdoor memories are always about the people I’m with but some of my favorites include singing campfire songs as a child, stargazing on beaches, belly laughing in the Shasta-Trinity Alps with Adventure Treks, and sunbathing on a raft down the Rogue River.
Favorite place in the world
Top five (again, I can’t pick just one) are the Boundary Waters, Rocky Mountain National Park, the Olympic Peninsula, Zion National Park, and wherever my nieces are.
What are you most looking forward to this summer?
I am looking forward to new people, places experiences, and challenges. I am looking forward to silliness, and belly laughs. To yummy snacks during hard hikes. To quiet conversation and shouts of excitement. To all the weird and wonderful that is an AT trip!
Previous Adventure Treks trips include Ultimate Northwest, California Adventure, Squamish Challenge, California Explorer, California Explorer
