Favorite hobbies

I started my thru-hiking journey this spring with the Camino de Santiago de Compostela and in Sardinia. I reignited my passion with knitting (lots and lots of hats), and after trying backcountry split boarding, I immediately loved it! I also enjoy fly fishing as long as it starts with a long trek in.

Favorite outdoor achievement

I finished a two-week trek on the southwestern coast of Portugal that was my first long solo hike. This gave me lots of time for contemplation and to really appreciate my surroundings (beautiful cliffs, sandy beaches, and hidden caves I could sleep in).

Favorite outdoor memory

I think the long days of chats and getting to meet and get close with my trail family on the Camino del Norte would be one of my favorite outdoor memories.

Favorite place in the world

The mountains near Tahoe because it’s where I learned to love nature, rock climbing, hiking, and snowboarding.

What are you most excited to experience this summer?

All the spontaneous fun that occurs and the nonstop stoke for nature and the outdoors!
