Instructor

Jake hails from Michigan and still calls it home today. Recently, he worked at the Pali Institute as an outdoor instructor in California. He spent a few years working as a counselor and then challenge course director for a YMCA camp in his home state; he’s also been a wilderness therapy mentor for youth. When not leading outdoor excursions like hiking and canoeing and teaching outdoor skills in Vermont, Jake has thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, and has also done long-distance trekking in Spain and Bulgaria!
