Daria

Marketing and admissions

Daria hails from Arlington, TX, and now calls western North Carolina home. During her time at SFASU, she was the student director of social media, managing multiple platforms for the university’s beach NCAA volleyball team. She then spent time working for NRG Park in Houston, home of the Houston Texans and famous Astrodome. There, she designed digital marketing campaigns and served as a brand ambassador at industry events and trade shows. She’s also worked as the marketing and social media specialist for Community Brewing in Dallas, where she oversaw social channels, digital content, special projects, and much more. Daria is our full-time marketing and admissions coordinator.

Favorite hobbies

Running, thrifting, crafting, exploring nature, music, any and all women’s sports—especially the WNBA

Favorite outdoor achievement

Camping through a midnight surprise torrential downpour in east Texas, where I was one of the last tents standing!

Favorite outdoor memory

Swimming with wild dolphins off the coast of the Big Island in Hawaii… truly one of the most connected experiences I’ve ever had with nature. Also, exploring the Mauna Kea Conservatory and being above the clouds!

Favorite place in the world

Anywhere the sun is shining!

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

Gaining and building relationships, exploring new places, growing professionally within the marketing realm, and creating and promoting memories and experiences!
