Cate

Originally from Massachusetts, Cate calls Burlington, VT, home, where she’s a teaching fellow at Shelburne Farms. While at the University of Vermont, Cate led backpacking and backcountry skiing trips through the Outing Club; she was also a part of the leadership development program that focuses on safety and risk management and mentorship through backcountry skiing. She’s served as a transportation planning intern for Vermont Clean Communities, and she recently worked at a regenerative farm. She’s been a lab technician at the spatial analysis lab, working with GIS software, and a counselor at Singing Eagle Lodge Camp in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, where she taught canoeing, rock climbing, and orientation skills. Cate was also a kids’ swim instructor for several summers.
