Favorite hobbies
I ride my bike every day, whether that’s getting to work or using it to explore places and find the best spot for a snack. Sometimes I use my bike to tow my canoe down to the river for a picnic paddle. When it’s winter, I put my snacking skills to use out on the cross country ski trails on Mount Hood. I also love artsy hands-on projects, whether that’s sewing a new outdoor bag, building a backyard sauna, or baking sourdough bread.
Favorite outdoor achievement
I once made chocolate croissants from scratch on a camping trip while we were stuck on a snowfield!
Favorite outdoor memory
My current favorite outdoor memory is watching the northern lights late at night from the middle of a frozen lake on the Arctic circle.
Favorite place in the world
Pearl Lake, Colorado, in October.
