Hannah calls New Mexico home. She currently works as an adventure leader for the city of Albuquerque’s parks and recreation department, taking people on climbing, paddleboarding, hiking, caving, and skiing expeditions; this also included training new staff members. She’s also a bilingual preschool teacher, and she’s worked as a camp educator for the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History.

I learned how to surf in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Santa Teresa is gorgeous and one of the big surf capitals in the world, so learning there felt amazing.
Horseback riding in the Andes! The scenery was incredible, and it was one of those experiences that made me realize how much I enjoy being outside and trying new things.
Tree Springs Trail in Sandia Park, NM. My mom took me on it constantly growing up, and it’s the place where I first realized how deeply I love hiking. Absolutely breathtaking views.
Getting to explore new places and teach at the same time. Those are my two favorite things, so getting to do both all summer sounds like a dream.
