Noah is from Massachusetts but now calls New York home. Before he headed off to Pitzer, he completed a NOLS gap semester, where he backpacked, climbed, canyoneered, and canoed through the Rockies. At Boston University, he was a rock climbing instructor, and he’s also worked as an outdoor educator for youth trips in Washington with Lasting Adventures.

I love backpacking, exploring new trails, running, painting and drawing, playing sports, making arts and crafts, and playing board games.
Running in the Hoh Rainforest to Blue Glacier and back in a day.
Climbing Mount Rainier with some of my best friends. The landscape was unlike anything I’d ever seen, and the shared struggle of starting the climb at midnight and pushing through fatigue all day was awesome. We even said hi to a marmot while going down the mountain, which had been one of my life’s goals for years.
The Wind River Range in Wyoming. Along with it being one of the most rugged and beautiful places out there, I had most of my first outdoor adventures and met some of my closest friends there.
I can’t wait to build a community with instructors and students who love the outdoors as much as I do!
