Favorite hobbies

I love rock climbing, biking aimlessly around town, long road trips, reading in a sunny spot outside, and cooking meals to share with my friends!

Favorite outdoor achievement

Probably the first lead climb I ever did! When I first started rock climbing, I really struggled with my fear of heights, so even though this climb wasn’t very physically challenging, it was still one of the most mentally challenging things I’ve ever done. Getting through that climb, in spite of how scared I was, was a big step in learning to trust myself and manage fear.

Favorite outdoor memory

The first time I saw the northern lights! It was completely unexpected and such an incredible moment of awe.

Favorite place in the world

Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Arkansas. That place is jam packed with memories for me! It’s one of the first places I ever went as a trip leader during college, and I still visit regularly with friends because they have such great climbing there.

What are you most looking forward to this summer?

All the silliness and laughter! Trips like these just have a way of turning everyone into goofballs, and it’s so fun to enjoy those moments with everyone.
