Henry

Instructor

Hailing from Massachusetts, Henry currently lives in WA where he attends the University of Washington for graduate school. He first joined the AT community as a student in the Leadership Adventure Semester program; after that, he completed a NOLS Wilderness Medicine and Rescue Semester where he earned certifications as a wilderness EMT and for swift water rescue. He’s worked as an EMT in Washington and Vermont—and in Vermont, he also led trips for UVM’s Outing Club during undergrad. He’s been a ski instructor in Washington state; a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service; and a camp counselor in western North Carolina. Fun fact: Henry speaks Spanish and Russian.
