A Sea Kayaking Update

wpdev07 Aug, 2016

For the last three days, we have been sea kayaking on the Pacific Ocean in the famously beautiful Puget Sound. We saw a lot of ocean wildlife like harbor seals, sea lions, jellyfish, and much more. Our guides took us to some really cool beaches and places on the ocean. We also went on a night kayak. We looked at the stars and planets as we kayaked into the sunset. We even got to play with the tiny bioluminescent creatures in the ocean around us! A bunch of us agreed it was one of the most beautiful things we had ever seen. We also got to go all together to Goodwill to buy some really awesome flair for the top of Mt. St. Helens! The proceeding fashion shows and photo shoots were absolutely fabulous.

At our campsite, we played a lot of games at some really cool World War 1 & 2 bunkers like Capture the Flag. We also played hide and seek which was a little scary playing in an old dark bunker. Some of us thought a zombie was going to pop out but it was really really fun.
This trip is fantastic! We’re having lots of fun. Looking forward to seeing our families soon,  but sad to have to leave!
With love from all of us here on Pacific Northwest Explorer!
